About two weeks ago, our school hosted their annual school dance at Casa el Recodo. This charming place is the oldest house in Granada and is also my favorite for curb appeal. It survived the great fires of the mid 19th century and was faithfully restored not too long ago. The dance provides the children an opportunity to dress up and have fun and in wonderful Latino tradition, the boys even love to dance. I had to take pictures early, due to the subdued lighting later in the evening. However, you can get the gist of how beautiful the event eventually was once all the people arrived.
