The kids got a couple of ducklings for their menagerie and were happy to take them swimming. We are currently fencing off a portion of our backyard to give the animals a large space to wander and be free. As for the pool, it will be ours again soon and the ducks will have their own special place. In other words, mom doesn't want duck poop in the pool.

| The girls were showing the duckling how to swim. I wanted to tell them the ducks are born swimmers but that would have taken the joy out of the occasion, so I kept quite. |
