It wasn't too long ago that I took pictures of the kids playing under a fragrant tree on a carpet of pink petals. Well, the profusion of hot pink blossoms has given way to an over abundance of fruit, literally gushing from the tree. Our property caretaker has even taken some of the Peras de agua fruit to the street so that hungry horses and cows can enjoy them while passing by our property. The rainy season started early this year, much to the appreciation of all who live here. The season of plenty will shortly be upon us and we cannot wait.
